Interbus Copper / PCI, Interbus Master/Slave card from Phoenix, 2 cards combined
Copper wiring The standard connection can be used universally. Currently the most commonly used transmission medium.
- single shield, twisted-pair cables e.g. Li-YCY 3x2x0.25mm
- max. 400 m between two devices without additional repeater.
For the Interbus copper card, the interfaces with circular connector and multibus connector are available.
Interbus optical fiber / PCI, Interbus Master/Slave-Karte from Phoenix, 2 cards combined.
Fiber-optic cables Different duplex fibers can be used:
- Polymer fiber, max. 50m
- HCS fiber, max. 300m
- Glass fiber, max. 3000m.
The Interbus optical fiber card can be used only with a cable inlet!

Please note:
The delivery via KUKA makes it possible to integrate the KUKA robot controller into an Interbus System.
KUKA Roboter is not in charge of the complete system.
A diagnostic cable (Interbus configuration tool) and the connector, which is necessary for the cabling to the PC (with Wieland cable inlet) are not part of the scope of delivery
